Marianne Wellen

Marianne (Vegh) Wellen, 64, of Palmerton, PA passed away in her home October 6th, 2021, af-ter a battle with cancer.

Marianne was born on June 3, 1957 to Margaret (Micancin) and Eugene Vegh.  She was a graduate of Slatington High School, Lehigh County Community College, and St. Luke’s School of Nursing.  She was a Registered Nurse until she retired in 2020.

She was predeceased by her daughter Stacey Peters, her sisters Nancy Rapp, Linda Vegh, Elaine Spradlin, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters Julie (Peters) Browne, Megan (Peters) Gross, Marie Wellen, sister Lorie Funk, brother John Vegh, grandchildren Riley and Grayson Gross, and sons-in-law Jeffrey Browne and Matthew Gross.

There will be no services held, per Marianne’s request.

Marianne was an avid animal lover, so anyone that wishes to can make a donation to Peaceable Kingdom in Whitehall, PA or any other animal shelter.
