Marie A. Anderson, 60, of Slatington, passed away peacefully, October 7, 2009, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was wife of Jim Blewitt Jr. Born in Neffs, she was the daughter of Floyd Hoppes Sr. & the late Christine (Peters) Hoppes. Marie worked for Grants in Allentown and then for Kraft Foods in Fogelsville for almost 30 years as a machine operator. She was a member of Allen O Delke American Legion Auxiliary and the Slatington Skeet Club. She enjoyed arts & crafts, flea markets and going for golf buggie rides with her family.

Survivors: Husband, father, daughters, Julie Davis of Slatington and Jodi Golden of Texas, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, brother, Donald G. Peters of Slatington, cats, Buffy & Stimpy.

Services: 10:30am, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Calling, Saturday, from 9:00am to 10:30am in the funeral home.

Contributions: to the American Cancer Society or Lehigh Valley Hospice C/O the funeral home.
