Marjorie A. Hofmann

Marjorie A. Hofmann, 92, formerly of Slatington, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. She was the former wife of the late Clinton E. Hofmann, who passed away in 1989. Born in Jim Thorpe on April 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Harlan) Haines. Marjorie worked in the meat department for the former Acme, Slatington and also for the former Kings IGA, Schnecksville. She was a member of St. John’s UCC, Slatington.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cynthia Nissen of Slatington; grandchildren: Katie and husband David Smith, Ryan Nissen and wife Tanya; great-grandchildren: Emily, Aubrie, Jane, Bryce; niece: Barbara Keller; nephew: Craig LaBold. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Jane LaBold.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11am on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Harding Funeral Home, 25 - 27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington.  A graveside service will follow at 11:30am at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cedarbrook Fountain Hill Life Enrichment, 724 Delaware Ave, Fountain Hill, PA 18015.
