Nancy E. Preston, 87, of Walnutport, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus.   She was the wife of Joseph Preston, whom she married on December 5, 1970.   Born in Hamburg on January 20, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles Correll and Dorothy (Degler) Hepner.   Nancy worked as a district secretary for Electrolux for many years.    Following her retirement from Electrolux, Nancy worked as a nanny for several years.     She was a member of the Carbon County Quilters Guild and enjoyed taking trips to the casinos.

In addition to her husband Joe, she will be lovingly remembered by a son: Larry Fryer and wife Sandy of Woodstock, MD; daughter: Joy Morris of Bethlehem, PA; grandchildren: Keith & Randy; brothers: Robert Correll of Sinking Spring, Barry Correll and wife Lori of Kempton; sister: Carolyn Hartman of Bernville; sister-in-law: Eileen Correll; mother-in-law: Josephine Preston and many other extended relatives of the Preston family.  She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Correll.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Walnutport Canal Pavilion, 309 Lehigh Street, Walnutport PA..  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia Society.
