Neil “Nips” T. Minnich, 82, of Treichlers, died on March 26, 2017 in his residence.
He was the husband of Rosalie A. (Kralik) Minnich: they celebrated their 56th anniversary last November.
Born in Berlinsville, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lillian (Lentz) Minnich.
Neil worked at Matlack, Inc., as a truck driver for over 20 years. He was then self-employed as owner and operator of Minnich Heating & Air. He was an honorably discharged veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Neil was a member of the Oplinger Hower American Legion Post 899 of Walnutport, the Slatington Lodge No. 440 F&AM, and the Lehigh Shrine Club.
Survivors: Wife, Children; Timothy Minnich and wife Charlotte of Treichlers, Sherri wife of Thomas Szoke of Walnutport. Grandchildren; Zachary , Luke and Mark Szoke, Matthew and Katelyn Minnich. Nephew; Dr. Barry Burkhardt and wife Donna of Paoli. He was predeceased by sister, Marian M. Burkhardt.
Services: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in Harding Funeral Home, Inc., at 25-27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Indianland Cemetery.
