Nevin R. Dengler

Nevin R. Dengler, 87, of Slatington, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in his home.   Born in Fogelsville on August 10, 1936, he was the son of the late John H. and Verna L. (Rader) Dengler.   A self-employed mechanic, Nevin was the owner/operator of Dengler’s City Service and worked at various other local automotive garages.

He will be lovingly remembered by a daughter: Deborah Pruden; son: Donald Dengler, both of Pottsville; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Union Cemetery, PA Rte 873, Slatington.   No calling hours.    Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
