Niccole Chirico

Niccole A. “Nicky” (Warmkessel) Chirico, 49, of Walnutport, passed away on August 26, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the beloved daughter of Gary and Joann (Jones) Warmkessel.
Niccole was a 1990 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and a proud member of the 1988 girls’ state champion softball team.  She continued her softball career at Rutgers University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Niccole most recently worked at Wegmans as a store clerk. Prior to that, she worked as a special events coordinator at Blue Mountain Ski Resort.
In addition to her parents, Niccole is survived by sons, Joseph Angelo Chirico and Michael Gary Chirico both of Walnutport; sister, Tonya, wife of Derrick Brickhouse of Schnecksville; nephew, Travis Warmkessel and wife, Alyssa along with their daughter, Allana Mae; and nieces Darian and Dakota Brickhouse. She is also survived by fiancé, Ryan Rute with whom she resided, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Harding Funeral Home, Inc., 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington, PA 18080, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7:30PM.
