Peggy S. Solt

Peggy S. Solt, 76, of Slatington, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus.  She was the wife of Franklin R. Solt, whom she married on February 8, 1967.   Born in Allentown on March 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Clara (Gildner) Youse.  Peggy was a member of St. John’s UCC, Slatington.   She was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and loved taking trips to the casinos.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Frank; sister: Hedy and husband George Case of North Catasauqua.   She was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Youse and Eunice Diehl.
Private family services will be held at Union Cemetery, Slatington.   Arrangements are under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John’s UCC, 15 S. Second Street, Slatington PA 18080.
