Phyllis M. Correll

Phyllis M. Correll, 82, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Walnutport and Macungie, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023.   She was the wife of Larry G. Corell, Sr.   Born in Slatedale on July 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Dorothy M. (Gruber) Schneck.    Phyllis was a hairdresser, operating her own shop, Phyllis Beauty Salon in Walnutport for 20 years.   She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale.   Phyllis enjoyed trips to the casinos, as well as coloring and playing slot machines on her iPad.    She also loved shopping, especially for shoes, purses, and jewelry.

In addition to her husband Larry, she will be lovingly remembered by a daughter: Clarissa “Chris” and her husband Keith Gross; grandchildren: Chad, Heather, Laura; great-grandchildren: Alivia, Kaden, Heidi, Dominic, Octavia; sister-in-law: Lorilei Jones, along with nieces and nephews.   She was pre-deceased by a son, Larry Correll, II and sister, Linda Bird.

Phyllis was laid to rest at the family plot at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington, where private family services were held.
