Richard L. Thomas, 49 of Walnutport died Saturday April 2, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown after a 6 year battle with cancer. He was the husband of Felicia A. (Felguieras) Thomas. Born in Toms River, NJ, he was the son of Richard C. Thomas of Walnutport and the late Lois A. (Marsh) Thomas. Rich worked for PPL, Martin’s Creek as a machinist for the last 25 years. Prior to that, he worked for Tyler Pipe Co. Rich was active in the Northern Lehigh Youth Softball as a board member and coach for the last 15 years. He was a coach of the Northampton Stars, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Fast pitch, and Northern Lehigh girl’s elementary basketball. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.

Services: 11am Wednesday April 6, 2016 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. Calling hour 6-8pm Tuesday April 5, and 10-11am Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Slatedale Cemetery.
