Robert B. Morgan

Robert B. Morgan, 92, of Liza’s House in Danielsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2026. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Oncheck) Morgan for 62 years before her passing in 2017. Robert was the son of the late Blanche Kern of Slatington. He worked for ACME Markets for 36 years, and later for Kings IGA, where he retired after 13 years. In his spare time, Bob coached little league boys in Lehigh township, and girls’ softball in Walnutport. Known to everyone as Uncle Bob, he could always be found at Bulldog sporting events, taking pictures of the players.

Robert is survived by his son, Keith Morgan (Vicki) of Stevensville, MT; stepson, Maison (Tanya), grandchildren, Maison and Natalee; sisters, Mary Ellen Eckert, Susie (Morris) Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Karen Kern, and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Kern, Lewis Kern; sisters, Louise Staley, Margaret (Peggy) Wehr, and sister-in-law, Janet Kern.

As per Robert’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Donations in his name can be to either, St. John’s Lutheran Church, 40 S. 2nd Street, Slatington or the Slatington Public Library, 650 Main St, Slatington. Harding Funeral Home, Slatington has been entrusted with Bob’s arrangements.
