Robert Bachman

Robert B. Bachman, 73 of Palmerton, formerly of Walnutport died Sunday May 17, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Margaret L. (Clauser) Bachman; they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late William O. and Pauline (Hollenbach) Bachman. Robert worked as machinist for Bonnie Forge in Allentown, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.
Survivors: Wife, Son; Brian W. Bachman and wife Cherie of Lehighton. Daughter; Sheila A. Krempasky of Lehighton. Grandchildren; Alyssa, Kyle, & Colton. Beloved Grand dogs; Teddy, Molly, Roxie, & Dozer.
Services: 11am Thursday May 21, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hours 6-8pm Wednesday May 20 and 10-11am Thursday at funeral home. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
