Rosanne T. Achey

Rosanne T. Achey, 80, formerly of Slatington, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus. She was the wife of Luther ‘Lou” Achey, whom she married December 14, 1968. Born in Slatington on February 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Mary (Shuster) Scott. She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband, Lou, Rosanne is survived by nieces, Joanne Vogel, Cathy Wentz; nephews, Mark, Keith and David Sayuk.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Harding Funeral Home, Inc, 25-27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM. Interment will follow at Indianland Cemetery, Cherryville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rosanne’s memory may be sent to either Forgotten Felines & Fidos or Assumption BVM Catholic Church, c/o the funeral home.
