Ruth R. Betz, 89 formerly of Whitehall died Saturday January 8, 2011 in Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Charles Betz. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late Owen Sr., and Eva (Best) Owens. Ruth worked for AT&T for 15years before retiring in 1986. She was a former member of the Schnecksville Senior Citizens.

Survivors: Sisters; Lorraine and husband Donald Wotring of Allentown, Florence and husband Kenneth Easterday of Bethlehem. Brother; Wilbur Owens of Whitehall. Many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her son Charles Betz, Jr.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
