Ruth Ann Cunfer

Ruth Ann “Ruthie” Cunfer, 52, of Palmerton, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 17, 2023.    Born in Allentown on July 7, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Ernest J. and Roberta M. (Peet) Cunfer.   Ruthie was a graduate of Northern Lehigh Class of 1988.    She worked as a consultant for Travel Impressions of Bethlehem for many years.   She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington, the Slatington Skeet Club, and a volunteer for Caring DAM Hearts.  Ruthie enjoyed music, movies, reading, dogs, traveling and spending time in nature, especially in Potter County

She is survived by brother: Robert J. Cunfer and wife Cynthia, Charles J. Cunfer, both of Slatington, Timothy J. Cunfer of Ashfield; sister: Mary A. and husband Scott Stahler of Palmerton; many nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield.  No calling hours.    Arrangements are under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
