Sharon Kester

Sharon A. Kester, 57, of Lehighton, passed away, May 7, 2009, in her home. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Beatrice (Diehl) Grammes. Sharon worked at the Allentown State Hospital, she was a bus driver for Laidlaw which is now known as First Student and most recently she was a showroom assistant for Yensers Windows and Doors. She was an active member of AFSCME. Sharon enjoyed fishing and casino trips but most of all she enjoyed playing with her grandsons. Sharon will be greatly missed and always treasured in the hearts of her family. Survivors: Daughter, Amie and husband Brian Yenser of New Ringgold; grandsons, Zachery and Jake; brothers Dane Grammes and Barry Grammes; sister Wanda Trate. Sharon was predecased by her brother, Lewis Grammes Jr. and her sister, Yvonne Kester. Services: 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington, PA 18080.
