Shirley Green, 80, of Slatington, passed away February 1, 2010 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Green. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late Earl & Marion (Kane) Wanamaker. Shirley worked as a sewing machine operator for many years. She was a former member of the Slatington Moose and a member of the Vigilant Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Slatington.

Survivors: Children, Clinton Rupert, Rodney Rupert, Stephen Rupert, Carol Haydt and Myrle Pugh, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, brother, Arthur Wanamaker, sisters, Belva, Myrle and Rita.

Services: 11:00am, Friday February 5, 2010, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour, Thursday, 7:00-8:30pm in the funeral home.
