Stanley H. Stahler, 87, of Slatington, passed away on December 26, 2025, surrounded by his family at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus. He was the devoted husband of the late Ellen J. (Mase) Stahler, with whom he shared many loving years before her passing in 2015. One of ten children, Stanley was born to the late Howard and Katie (Miller) Stahler.
Following his graduation from high school, Stanley honorably served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard from 1956 to 1964. He went on to work for many years as an electrician at ALPO before retiring.
Stanley enjoyed hunting and was a dedicated Deacon at Bessie Road Baptist Church in Pelzer, South Carolina, where he previously resided. Above all, Stanley cherished his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sarah L., wife of Jonathan Weaber of Slatington, Jennifer C. Stahler of Bloomingdale, NJ, and Paul I.A. Stahler and wife, Michele of Slatington; grandchildren Samuel & Joshua Weaber and Karyana & Gabrielle Stahler; sisters, Carol Nothstein of Lehighton, Marlene, wife of Gary Miller of Tamaqua, and Burdell Stahler of Illinois. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia E. Stahler.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11am at church. Burial services will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Stanley’s memory to Bethany Wesleyan Church. Harding Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
