Suzanne J. Uhnak Scitney

Suzanne J. Uhnak Scitney, 71, of Walnutport, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 5, 2025, at home. Born in Palmerton on January 1, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Pius and Beatrice (Fritz) Uhnak. Suzanne was a graduate of Northampton Area High School, Class of 1972. Most recently, she was employed part-time in the bakery department at Giant in Walnutport. Prior to that, she served as a production supervisor for Fisher Clinical. Suzanne also worked for Wellman Plastics and the former DeVille Blouse Company in Danielsville. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Walnutport. Suzanne enjoyed bowling at the Democratic Club in Danielsville and at the former Haja Lanes in Palmerton. She was a wonderful baker and took great joy in preparing baked goods for family gatherings and holidays.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Christopher M. Uhnak and his partner Tony Infantino, whom she resided with; siblings, Joanne Uhnak, Anna Werley, Barbara Snyder, Joseph Uhnak. She was pre-deceased by siblings, John Uhnak, Pius Uhnak, Jr., and Paul Uhnak.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 6PM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the American legion Oplinger Hower Post 899, 1140 Municipal Rd, Walnutport PA 18088
