Virginia S. Rindge

Virginia S. Rindge, 84, of Slatington, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, September 24, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas P. Rindge, who passed away in 2022.  Born in Cortland, NY on April 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Minnie E. (McPhee) Smith.  Virginia was a graduate of Cortland High School, Class of 1960.  She worked for Air Products in the purchasing department for more than 20 years before retiring in 2001.  She was a former member of the United Presbyterian Church of Slatington.  She had a love for traveling, and along with her husband enjoyed visiting the National Parks throughout the country.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deanna wife of Leonard Christman of Marathon, NY, Debra wife of Christopher Yeager of Slatington; Grandchildren, Suzanne wife of Daniel Diehl, Rebecca Yeager and partner Sean Kunkle, Matthew Thornton; 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lori Thornton.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
