Virginia Snyder

Virginia B. “Ginny” Snyder, 92 of Slatington died Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Snyder, who died in 2010. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Ida M. (Deily) Stephens. She was a longtime ACME supermarket employee, working at various stores throughout the area. Ginny was an active member of St. John’s UCC, Slatington, and was a member of the church Women’s Guild. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and cheering on the Phillies and the Villanova Men’s Basketball Team.
Survivors: Daughter, Karen & her husband John Karwoski of Pottstown, many nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings Willoughby, Mervin, Arthur, George, Harold, Esther, and Florence Stephens.
Services: 11AM Monday July 25, 2016 St. Mark’s Cemetery, 103 W. Lexington Street, Allentown.
Arrangements: Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington.
