Arthur Koran

Arthur “Arty” Koran, 57, of Slatington, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Lehighton.   Born in Allentown on August 23, 1966, he was the son of Arthur J. Koran of Slatington and the late Margaret H. (Wilder) Koran.    Arty most recently worked for Engines Incorporated.  Prior to that, he worked for Livengood Excavators as a truck driver.    He was a member of the Slatington Moose, American Legion Post 16, Slatington Skeet Club, and the VFW, Walnutport.

In addition to his father, he is survived by sisters, Pauline K. and husband Frank Marx of Danielsville, Karen K. and husband Richard Easterday of Danielsville, Louise K. and husband Todd Freed of Germansville, nieces & nephews, and friend, Katie Serfass.  He was pre-deceased by a sister, Fern Brazes.

There will be no services per Arty’s wishes. Arrangements are under the direction of Harding Funeral Home.
